Dong Fang Star is a garment manufacturer based in Nantong, Jiangsu province, China. The company was founded in the year 2000.
It stands out as a garment supplier expert in the manufacturing of lingerie, sleepwear, loungewear, beachwear, and womenswear, distributing globally its textile products from its own factories, and reaching markets worldwide.
Dong Fang Star stands out in the production of woven lightweight fabrics garments, but as a lingerie supplier is also an expert in the manufacture of knitted garments.
Owning two in-house design teams and offices in mainland China (Nantong, Jiangsu) and Europe (Barcelona, Spain), Dong Fang Star invests consistently in R&D. It excels in the sourcing and supply of fabrics and trimmings, offering innovative and high-quality solutions for the fashion industry.
Dong Fang Star production is mainly based in mainland China and Southeast Asia (Myanmar & Bangladesh) with more than 3.000 workers and over 60.000m2.
Its annual capacity includes more than 1.200 styles and can ship more than 6 million pcs/sets and its minimum order quantity is 1.000 units per style.

Factories
Dong Fang Star has four wholly owned factories in China and Myanmar, along with a joint venture with a factory based in Bangladesh. This means quicker response times, a wider range of pricing options, fabrics, and export alternatives for its clients.
Since 2000, it has three factories in mainland China, which provide clients with lower MOQ productions, shorter lead times, and more flexibility. Their workers are specialized in sleepwear, loungewear and light woven productions.

Since 2013, Dong Fang Star owns one factory in Myanmar, which provides clients knit and woven sewing lines, higher MOQ productions, longer lead times and raw materials shipped from China. It is specialized in all kinds of sleepwear and loungewear, light woven productions and fake down jackets.

- GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard): is a globally recognized standard that certifies textile products that have been made with organic fibers and produced according to strict social and environmental criteria throughout the entire supply chain
